Location: Elementary School
Start Date: November 3, 2025
Contract Duration: Through the 2025–2026 school year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 3:05 PM (37.5 hours/week)
Openings: 1
Weekend Requirement: None
Overtime: Not applicable
Position Overview
Amergis Staffing is seeking a compassionate and skilled CertifiedNursing Assistant (CNA) to provide 1:1 support for a malekindergarten student diagnosed with Eagle Barrett Syndrome. The studentis in an Exceptional Children (EC) classroom and requires assistance withpersonal care and basic health services.
This is a full-time, school-based role working under the supervision ofthe district school nurse or a clinical designee. The CNA will also supportclassroom activities alongside the teacher and teacher assistant.
Student Care Needs
- G-tube bolus feeding
- Urostomy tube management
- Diaper checks and changes throughout the day
- Bathroom assistance
- Scheduled escorts mid-morning and early afternoon per doctor’s recommendation
- Catheter present (no catheterizations currently, but may be needed in future)
Minimum Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license (required)
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
- Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
