?? Pay: $40/hour
?? Contract: Through the end of the school year

About the Role

We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to support students in an elementary-level Autism Program. This role is ideal for educators who are passionate about individualized instruction and creating inclusive learning environments.

Key Responsibilities

? Instruction & Planning

• Assess student needs and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Provide targeted, differentiated instruction based on student goals
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly

? Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and specialists
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to share updates and progress
• Support academic and behavioral development in alignment with IEP goals

? Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate records and meet all Special Education compliance standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to evaluation processes

Requirements

? State-Approved Special Education Teaching Certificate (Nebraska)
? Ability to work with students on the autism spectrum in a structured setting
? Strong communication and collaboration skills
? Experience in Special Education (preferred)
