?? Pay: $45/hour
?? Contract: Through the end of the school year

About the Role

What You’ll Do

? Instruction & Planning

• Develop engaging lesson plans
• Deliver group and individual instruction
• Create student schedules aligned with IEP service minutes

? Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with general education teachers, team members, and administrators
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians
• Lead weekly meetings with Instructional Assistants

? Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure Special Education compliance standards and timelines
• Complete all required Special Education paperwork
• Facilitate IEP and Evaluation meetings

? Student Support & Assessment

• Manage behavior using PBIS, IEPs, and district guidelines
• Administer district and state assessments
• Collect and analyze student data

? Leadership & Supervision

• Schedule and supervise Instructional Assistants
• Attend staff meetings and professional development

?? Other Duties as Assigned
Support the efficient and effective functioning of the school environment.

Requirements

? Active Missouri Teaching License – Special Education
? Fingerprint clearance
? Meet DESE requirements
? Current CPR certification
? 1+ year of experience in Special Education (preferred)
