Special Education School Aide

Position Summary
We are hiring experienced Special Education School Aides to support students across various grade levels in Charleston, WV. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about helping children with learning and behavioral disabilities succeed in a supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide support to students in 1:1 or small group settings
- Encourage positive behavior and social development
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families
Qualifications
- Experience as a school aide preferred
- Experience with children with learning and behavioral disabilities preferred
- Must complete onboarding process
- Must pass a 12-panel drug screening
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $20 per hour
- Schedule: Estimated 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday
- Hours: Typical school schedule between 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Contract Length: 25 weeks
- Pay Frequency: Weekly
- Locations: Multiple openings across various schools and grade levels in Charleston, WV
