Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 behavior support to students in classroom and school settings as a Behavior Technician. Or join a classroom as general support para

Assist students with special needs and disabilities in achieving academic and behavioral goals

Implement redirection strategies and respond appropriately to a wide range of behaviors

Support classroom teachers with instructional and non-instructional tasks

Participate in training and ongoing professional development

Preferred Qualifications:

The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs and collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
