Speech Language Pathologist Assistant | $41/hr | Willard, MO | ECSE & Elementary | ASAP–May 2026

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support early childhood and elementary-aged students in the Willard, MO area. This in-person role begins ASAP and runs through the end of the 2025–26 school year.

Position Overview

  • Role: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

  • Grade Level: ECSE and elementary

  • Setting: Location determined by district based on best fit

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (30-minute lunch)

  • Hours: 37.5 paid hours/week

  • Start Date: ASAP (Estimated: 11/10/2025)

  • Duration: Through May 2026

  • Location: Willard, MO

  • Interview Format: Virtual or in-person with SPED director and SLP team

  • Campus Assignment: TBD

Compensation

  • Pay Rate: $41/hour

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapy-based speech and language services under supervision of licensed SLP

  • Support a caseload of 30–35 students

  • Deliver services aligned with student goals and treatment plans

  • Participate in documentation and educational activities

  • Collaborate with district SLPs (team of 8)

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree from SLPA program or bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology or communication disorders

  • Completion of 100+ hours of supervised fieldwork or clinical equivalent

  • Current SLPA certification or licensure in Missouri

  • One year of SLPA experience preferred

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

  • TB clearance and health certificate as applicable

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
