Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking two full-time Special Education Teachers to support middle school students in the Kenosha, WI area. This in-person assignment begins ASAP and runs through the end of the school year.

Position Overview

Role: Special Education Teacher
Grade Level: Middle School
Setting: Public middle schools in the Kenosha area
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Hours: 40/week
Start Date: ASAP (Estimated: 11/10/2025)
Duration: Through the end of the school year
Location: Kenosha, WI
Openings: 2

Compensation

Pay Rate: $45/hour

Responsibilities

Provide direct instruction and support to students with IEPs
Collaborate with general education staff to implement student programs
Participate in IEP development, meetings, and progress monitoring
Deliver tutorial assistance and behavioral support as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district standards

Qualifications

Valid Wisconsin DPI teaching license or one in progress
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred
Minimum one year of teaching experience preferred
Endorsements in Standard Elementary, Secondary, or Special Teaching preferred
LBS1 endorsement preferred
Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
CPR, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable
Must be at least 18 years of age
