Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking two full-time Special Education Teachers to support middle school students in the Kenosha, WI area. This in-person assignment begins ASAP and runs through the end of the school year.

Position Overview

• Role: Special Education Teacher

• Grade Level: Middle School

• Setting: Public middle schools in the Kenosha area

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

• Hours: 40/week

• Start Date: ASAP (Estimated: 11/10/2025)

• Duration: Through the end of the school year

• Location: Kenosha, WI

• Openings: 2

Compensation

• Pay Rate: $45/hour

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction and support to students with IEPs

• Collaborate with general education staff to implement student programs

• Participate in IEP development, meetings, and progress monitoring

• Deliver tutorial assistance and behavioral support as needed

• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district standards

Qualifications

• Valid Wisconsin DPI teaching license or one in progress

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred

• Minimum one year of teaching experience preferred

• Endorsements in Standard Elementary, Secondary, or Special Teaching preferred

• LBS1 endorsement preferred

• Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

• CPR, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

• Must be at least 18 years of age
