School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Thousand Oaks, CA

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an in-person school-based role in Thousand Oaks, CA. This full-time position is available immediately and runs through the end of the 2025–2026 school year.

Position Details

• Location: Thousand Oaks, CA
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: June 12, 2026
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Hours: 35 hours/week (7 hours/day)
• Grade Level: Elementary
• Setting: In-person at elementary school sites
• Openings: 1
• Contract Length: Full school year (25–26 weeks)
• Local Pay Rate: $78/hr
• Travel Weekly Pay: $3,584

Responsibilities

• Conduct student evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Provide speech-language therapy services in accordance with physician orders and student IEPs
• Document services and progress accurately
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success

Requirements

• Licensure: Active California SLP License
• Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred (may be required by contract/state)
• Experience: Prior school-based experience required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Additional documentation may be required (CPR, TB test, health certificate, Certificate of Clearance, etc.)
