School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) – Santa Barbara, CA

Amergis Educational Staffing is currently hiring Occupational Therapists (OTs) for in-person school-based positions in Santa Barbara. This is a full-time opportunity for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year.

Position Details

  • Location: Santa Barbara, CA
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday
  • Hours: 40 hours/week
  • Contract Length: 39 weeks
  • Openings: 2
  • Pay Rate: $75/hour
  • Travel Weekly Pay: $3,519

Role Overview

As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will:

  • Conduct student evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Provide direct therapy services across school sites (PK–Post Secondary)
  • Document services in accordance with student care plans
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student development

Requirements

  • Licensure: Active California OT License
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional OT experience preferred; school-based experience required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
  • Additional documentation may be required (CPR, TB test, health certificate, etc.)

  • Caseload: To be discussed during interview
  • Grade Levels: Pre-K through Post Secondary
  • Classroom Needs: Vary across sites
  • Setting: In-person across multiple school locations
