Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher for an elementary school position with North Clackamas School District in Portland, OR. This in-person role begins October 27, 2025 (or sooner) and runs through the end of the school year.

Position Overview:

Location: Portland, OR
Start Date: October 27, 2025 (or sooner)
Duration: 7 months
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (37.5 hrs/week)
Pay Rate: $54/hr
Modality: Elementary Special Education

Responsibilities:

Provide quality services to K–12 special education students
Deliver special instruction, tutorial assistance, and consult with general education staff
Collaborate with school teams to implement individualized student programs

Requirements:

Valid state teaching certificate (LBS1 endorsement preferred)
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)
Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (preferred)
CPR, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
