Special Education Teacher | $54/hr | Full-Time | Portland, OR | ASAP–EOY

Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher for an elementary school position with North Clackamas School District in Portland, OR. This in-person role begins October 27, 2025 (or sooner) and runs through the end of the school year.

Position Overview:

  • Location: Portland, OR

  • Start Date: October 27, 2025 (or sooner)

  • Duration: 7 months

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (37.5 hrs/week)

  • Pay Rate: $54/hr

  • Modality: Elementary Special Education

Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality services to K–12 special education students

  • Deliver special instruction, tutorial assistance, and consult with general education staff

  • Collaborate with school teams to implement individualized student programs

Requirements:

  • Valid state teaching certificate (LBS1 endorsement preferred)

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

  • Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (preferred)

  • CPR, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
