Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring five full-time Special Education Teachers (LBS1) for immediate openings across multiple school sites in Melrose Park, Maywood, and Broadview, IL. These in-person roles run through the end of the 2025–2026 school year and offer a competitive hourly rate of $50/hr.

Position Overview:

Location: Melrose Park, Maywood, Broadview, IL
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Through end of school year (39 weeks)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–3:40 PM (35 hrs/week)
Modality: Elementary SPED Teacher (LBS1)
Pay Rate: $50/hr
Interview: Virtual

Caseloads:

Multiple openings across two classroom types:
- Self-Contained
- Resource
Classrooms serve K–12 students with diverse academic and behavioral needs
Each classroom includes paraprofessional support

Requirements:

Valid IL teaching certificate with LBS1 endorsement (preferred)
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)
Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (preferred)
CPR, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
