Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time School Social Worker to provide Educationally Related Mental Health Services for high school students in San Jose, CA. This in-person role begins October 1, 2025, and runs for 182 school days through the end of the academic year.

Position Overview:

Location: San Jose, CA
Start Date: October 1, 2025
Duration: 182 school days
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 35–37.5 hrs/week
Pay Rate: $50–$70/hr (based on license level)
Interview: Virtual

Responsibilities:

Provide mental health services to high school students
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support IHP/IEP development
Deliver social work interventions in an educational setting
Participate in planning and implementation of student support programs

Requirements:

Professional Educator License with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement (required)
MSW, ASW, or LCSW (as required by state or district)
CPR, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
Supervision hours cannot be provided
