Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time School Social Worker to provide Educationally Related Mental Health Services for high school students in San Jose, CA. This in-person role begins October 1, 2025, and runs for 182 school days through the end of the academic year.

Position Overview:

• Location: San Jose, CA

• Start Date: October 1, 2025

• Duration: 182 school days

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 35–37.5 hrs/week

• Pay Rate: $50–$70/hr (based on license level)

• Interview: Virtual

Responsibilities:

• Provide mental health services to high school students

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support IHP/IEP development

• Deliver social work interventions in an educational setting

• Participate in planning and implementation of student support programs

Requirements:

• Professional Educator License with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement (required)

• MSW, ASW, or LCSW (as required by state or district)

• CPR, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Supervision hours cannot be provided
