Skilled Behavioral Technician with ABA Experience

Job Title: ABA Behavior Technician – School-Based

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Pay rate: Starting at $21+/hour (commensurate with experience)

Schedule: Monday–Friday during school hours — weekends and holidays off!

Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate ABA Behavior Technicians to join our school-based team in Los Angeles. This role involves working directly with students with special needs, implementing ABA strategies to support their learning and behavioral goals.

Responsibilities:

– Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student behavior and instruction

– Implement ABA techniques such as prompting, reinforcement, and behavior tracking

– Collect and analyze behavior data (e.g., frequency, duration)

– Follow IEPs and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)

– Use visual supports like token boards and schedules

– Assist with hygiene and toileting routines when necessary

Qualifications:

– Minimum 2 years of experience as a Behavior Technician or ABA Interventionist (preferred)

– Experience with ABA therapy and managing mild to severe behaviors

– High school diploma or equivalent

– Willingness to accept per diem assignments before ongoing placement
