Corrections RN – Day Shift | Anamosa, IA

We’re hiring a skilled and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) for a Corrections assignment in Anamosa, Iowa. This is a structured, secure facility offering consistent weekday hours and competitive pay for both local and travel candidates.

?? Assignment Details:

• Location: Anamosa, IA

• Start Date: ASAP

• Duration: 13 weeks

• Shift: 5:45 AM – 1:45 PM

• Schedule: Monday–Friday + every other weekend

• Hours: 40 hours/week

?? Compensation:

• Local Candidates (within 50 miles): $58/hour

• Travel Candidates (50+ miles from facility): $2,526/weekTravel rate eligibility requires proof of residency

• Active RN license

• Nursing diploma

• Valid driver’s license

? Qualifications:

• Previous corrections or behavioral health experience preferred

• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in a secure environment

The Correctional RN works in collaboration with otherhealthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to ensurethe well-being of the incarcerated population. The Correctional RN utilizes their knowledge to address the specificchallenges and limitations of the correctional environment while providing careto their patient population.  This careincludes both routine and emergency health care in a correctional facilitysetting. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which thenurse practices
• Minimum of one year of correctional health care experiencepreferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable   
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements   
• Must be at least 18 years of age
