The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.
Minimum Requirements:
- Para license
- Experience with children shown on resume
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Hiring (3) 1:1 Paraprofessionals
Candidates will have a virtual screening with recruiter prior to credentialing and interviewing.
Setting: General Education (Co-Taught)
Schedule: 7:30 AM – 3:05 PM
- Includes a 30-minute paid break
- Guaranteed 37.55 hours per week
- Opportunities for overtime (afterschool programs & Special Olympics)
