School Aide $19/hr

The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee.  The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Para license
• Experience with children shown on resume
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice 
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements   
• Must be at least 18 years of age  

Hiring (3) 1:1 Paraprofessionals

Candidates will have a virtual screening with recruiter prior to credentialing and interviewing.

Setting: General Education (Co-Taught)

Schedule: 7:30 AM – 3:05 PM

• Includes a 30-minute paid break
• Guaranteed 37.55 hours per week
• Opportunities for overtime (afterschool programs & Special Olympics)

Location: South Holland, IL 60473

Start: ASAP – Must be fully credentialed with our company before interviewing

Grade Level: High School (General Education)

• No extreme behaviors
• Support involves assisting students throughout the school day, moving between classes as needed
• Must be a team player, honest, hard working, and no previous trouble on assignments
