Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – School-Based 1:1 Support Location: Pomona • Claremont • Surrounding AreasCompensation: $30–$35 per hour, based on experience

Amergis Educational Services is seeking compassionate and reliable Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to provide 1:1 care for students in school settings. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting student health and wellness throughout the school day.

About the Role

As a School-Based LVN, you will:

  • Monitor and respond to the health needs of an individual student throughout the school day

  • Promote general wellness and provide health education

  • Support disease prevention and refer to appropriate healthcare resources when necessary

  • Deliver care in accordance with LVN scope of practice and state education codes

  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care

Minimum Requirements

  • Current California LVN license

  • At least 1 year of pediatric or school-based nursing experience (preferred)

  • Current CPR certification

  • TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray)

  • Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
