LPN/LVN Corrections

We’re hiring a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Corrections assignment in Glenwood, Iowa. This is a great opportunity to provide essential care in a secure facility while working a steady night shift with competitive pay.

?? Assignment Details:

• Location: Glenwood, IA

• Start Date: ASAP

• Duration: 8–13 weeks

• Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

• Schedule: 36/48 hour rotations

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

?? Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $38/hour

• Overtime Rate: $57/hour

? Requirements:

• Active LPN license

• Previous corrections or behavioral health experience preferred

• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in a secure environment

The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse works in close andimmediate contact with adults and children in custody on a daily basisproviding general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatorysection of the Corrections Facility while maintaining facility securitystandards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possesses a current Practical Nursing License in theapplicable state
• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
