The Registered Nurse – NICU cares for newborn babies who are delivered pre-term or at-term newborns who experience complications at the time of birth. The Registered Nurse – NICU provides intensive around-the-clock care, including both medical needs and basic daily care activities. 

  • BLS, NRP – required
  • Dependent and Child Abuse certifications – can be obtained during onboarding
  • Will accept 1st time traveler
  • May float to general pediatrics and PICU
  • Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices
  • One year NICU experience required
  • NRP card per contract requirement
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements  
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
Travel and Local pay rates are available for those who are interested in applying

Nights: 3×12 hr shifts, 36 hrs/week – No call — Every 3rd weekend including holiday rotation


Weekend Requirements:
Every 3rd weekend including holiday rotation if scheduled

Winter holidays: Required to work 2 of 3 (Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving)
Limit of 1 day request off between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked.
