School Psychologist (LSSP) | Full-Time | Cypress, TX | $55 an hour
Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) to provide on-site psychological services to students in Cypress, Texas. This full-time, in-person role begins October 26, 2025, and continues through the end of the school year. Part-time candidates may also be considered.
Position Overview:

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week

Interview Format: Virtual

Floating: May float between campuses (discussed during interview)
Responsibilities:
-
Conduct special education evaluations for Autism, Emotional Disturbance, and ADHD/Other Health Impairments
-
Provide psychological services (consultation or direct counseling) for students receiving special education
-
Offer general consultation for students not currently receiving services
-
Participate in suicide risk screenings and crisis response as needed
-
Attend IEP meetings and campus staffing sessions
-
Maintain case records and collaborate with teachers, parents, and community agencies
-
Support adaptive behavior programs and facilitate parent groups
-
Attend monthly in-person staff meetings
-
Perform other duties as assigned by the department director
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in school psychology, educational psychology, or related field (required); doctoral degree preferred
-
Active Texas LSSP license (or in application process)
-
Minimum one year of school-based psychological services experience (internship may qualify)
-
Experience in assessments, consultations, and direct services
-
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
-
CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable
-
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
