Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support middle and high school students within Stafford, Texas Schools. This in-person role begins as soon as possible and runs through May 31, 2026.

Position Overview:

Location: Stafford, TX (Stafford MSD)
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: May 31, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week
Pay Rate: $40/hr
Modality: In-person only
Grade Levels: Middle School & High School
Caseload: 40 students (projected to grow)
Supervision: Provided by an Amergis SLP
Interview Format: Virtual or in-person

Responsibilities:

Assist the supervising SLP in delivering speech and language services
Support clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment activities
Work within the scope of the plan of care developed by the SLP and/or physician
Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state documentation standards

Minimum Requirements:

Associate’s degree from an SLPA program or bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology or communication disorders
Minimum of 100 hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent clinical experience
Current SLPA certification or licensure in Texas
One year of SLPA experience preferred
TB clearance, health certificate, and fingerprinting as required
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
