Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) | $40/hr | Full-Time | Stafford, Texas | Middle & High School | In-Person | Through May 2026

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support middle and high school students within Stafford, Texas Schools. This in-person role begins as soon as possible and runs through May 31, 2026.

Position Overview:

  • Location: Stafford, TX (Stafford MSD)

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • End Date: May 31, 2026

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week

  • Pay Rate: $40/hr

  • Modality: In-person only

  • Grade Levels: Middle School & High School

  • Caseload: 40 students (projected to grow)

  • Supervision: Provided by an Amergis SLP

  • Interview Format: Virtual or in-person

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the supervising SLP in delivering speech and language services

  • Support clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment activities

  • Work within the scope of the plan of care developed by the SLP and/or physician

  • Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state documentation standards

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree from an SLPA program or bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology or communication disorders

  • Minimum of 100 hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent clinical experience

  • Current SLPA certification or licensure in Texas

  • One year of SLPA experience preferred

  • TB clearance, health certificate, and fingerprinting as required

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
