Special Education Teacher (Elementary–High School)
Location: Greater Milwaukee Area
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: June
Pay Rate: Up to $60/hour
Schedule: Full-Time
Overview:
We are actively seeking a passionate and qualified Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school team in the Milwaukee area. This full-time position spans from now through the end of the school year in June and may involve working with students from elementary through high school, depending on placement.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities.
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with families and school teams.
- Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and district regulations.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Wisconsin DPI license in Special Education.
- Experience with a range of student needs and grade levels (elementary to high school).
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to equity and inclusive education.
