Part-Time Speech Language Specialist Needed – Accepting SLP & SLPA Candidates

Location: Boonville, IN Start Date: Second Semester Schedule: 3 Full Days or 5 Half Days (In-Person Only) Pay: SLP ($65/hr) SLPA ($55/hr)

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our school-based team. This role involves conducting student evaluations, delivering therapy services, and maintaining accurate documentation in alignment with individualized plans of care and physician orders.

You’ll be supported by two experienced SLPs already on-site, making this a collaborative and welcoming environment for professionals at any stage of their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Provide direct therapy services to students
  • Document progress and maintain compliance with care plans and physician directives
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff
  • Uphold professional standards and ethical practices

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active SLP or SLPA licensure in the state of Indiana
  • For SLPs – Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; may be required by state or contract
  • Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
  • Current CPR certification (if applicable)
  • TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest x-ray (if applicable)
  • Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Additional Details:

  • In-person position only
  • Flexible scheduling: choose between 3 full days or 5 half days
  • Supportive team environment with 2 current SLPs on-site
