Mobile Crisis Clinician – Community-Based Crisis Response (988 Calls)

Rancho Cordova, CA | $50/hour | Temp-to-Perm

We’re hiring Mobile Crisis Clinician to join the Community Wellness and Response Team (CWRT) in Rancho Cordova. This program provides urgent, in-field mental health crisis response in partnership with 988 and Sacramento County—offering compassionate alternatives to emergency services.

Key Responsibilities

· Respond to 988-referred mental health crises (avg. 4–5 calls/day)

· Work in teams of 3 social workers per shift

· On-site, field-based support with vehicle provided

· This innovative program works collaboratively with 988 and Sacramento County to provide urgent response for community members experiencing a mental health crisis to reduce the need for emergency services and provide community-based resources.

· Eligible for clinical supervision

Shifts Available

Day: Sun–Thu or Tue–Sat | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Swing: Sun–Thu or Tue–Sat | 4:00 PM–12:30 AM
NOC: Sun–Thu or Tue–Sat | 12:00 AM–8:30 AM
NOC: Fri–Tue or Thu–Mon | 12:00 AM–8:30 AM

Requirements

ACSW or AMFT (BBS-registered)
Master’s in Social Work, MFT, or Clinical Counseling
2+ years of social service experience
Valid CA driver’s license (no personal vehicle required)

$50/hour
Duration: on-going
Temp-to-perm opportunity
Vehicle provided for field response
Virtual interviews end of next week
Supervision available for licensure

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker collaborates with themulti-disciplinary team to provide input in the development of the plan of carefor those patients/clients requiring social work intervention. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker providescounseling and crisis intervention to patients/clients who have social oremotional problems in a variety of settings across the age span.

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree in Social Work from a school of social workaccredited by the Council on Social Work Education required
Active license as an LCSW in state of practice required
Minimum of one year of social work experience preferred
Current CPR if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
