Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring three full-time Special Education Teachers to support multiple classrooms at an elementary campus in Phoenix, Arizona. These roles begin October 20, 2025, and run for 36 weeks through the end of the school year.

Position Overview:

• Location: Phoenix, AZ

• Start Date: October 20, 2025

• Duration: 36 weeks

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7.5 hours/day (37.5 hours/week)

• Pay Rate: $50/hr

• Modality: In-person

• Interview Type: Virtual first round, in-person second round

• Openings: 3

• Caseload: Resource and self-contained classrooms available

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to K–12 students with IEPs

• Collaborate with general education staff and participate in team planning

• Deliver tutorial assistance and consultation

• Maintain documentation and compliance with district and state standards

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Arizona teaching certificate (Special Education preferred)

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

• One year of teaching experience (preferred)

• LBS1 endorsement (preferred)

• CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
