Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher for a contract near Boulder, Colorado. This position begins ASAP and runs through the full 2025–2026 school year.

Position Overview:

• Location: Boulder, CO area

• Start Date: ASAP

• Contract Length: Full 2025–2026 school year

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 student contact hours/week

• Pay:

  • Local: $54/hr

  • Travel: $2,260/week (includes stipends)

• Modality: In-person

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to K–12 students with IEPs

• Collaborate with general education staff and participate in team planning

• Deliver tutorial assistance and consultation

• Maintain compliance with district and state standards

Minimum Requirements:

• Eligible to work in Colorado and obtain CO CDE Special Education Generalist License

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

• Valid teaching certificate (Special Education preferred)

• One year of teaching experience (preferred)

• LBS1 endorsement (preferred)

• CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
