Work Hours: 37.5 hours/week | Monday–Friday | Evening hours on game days
Amergis HealthcareStaffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced AthleticTrainer to support student-athletes at the high school level. This rolefocuses on injury prevention, early intervention, and promoting peak physicalfitness through expert evaluation and care.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Evaluate and advise students on injury recovery and prevention
- Support musculoskeletal health through proactive care and education
- Collaborate closely with the Athletic Director and school staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to professional standards
MinimumRequirements:
- State licensure, certification, and/or registration as required
- Certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification (NATABOC)
- Minimum of 3 years of athletic training experience (preferred)
- Current CPR certification
- Must be at least 18 years of age
AdditionalDetails:
- Caseload: Primarily serves a high school with ~400 students (not all are athletes)
- Interview Process: Virtual interview with Athletic Director, HR, and possibly Superintendent
- Work Environment: In-person only; schedule varies by sports season, with latest hours up to 8 PM on football Fridays
- Team Culture: Strong collaboration with a flexible and supportive Athletic Director
