Position Details:

?? Location: Lakeville, MN
?? Contract Duration: Through the end of the current school year
?? Schedule: Full-time, school hours
?? Type: Contract position
?? Pay: $20/hr

Key Responsibilities:

Assist teachers with classroom activities and student supervision
Support students with academic tasks, behavior plans, and social development
Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
Collaborate with staff to ensure every student feels seen and supported

Required Qualifications:

? Must be at least 18 years of age
? Previous experience working with individuals with cognitive deficits
? PCA (Personal Care Assistant) certification
? Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
? Paraeducator certification (can be completed in-office)
– OR 60+ credits of post-high school education

Bonus Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Patience, reliability, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed
Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with teachers and staff
Must be able to pass a background check and meet school district requirements

Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent
Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice
Current CPR (if applicable)
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must have AA degree or pass the ParaPro exam
