Radiation Therapist – Puyallup, WA or Gig Harbor, WA
Pay Rate: $45–$70/hour (based on experience Travel package available)
Contract Options: Temp-to-Perm, 13–26 Week Contract (no extensions; internal hire after)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x8s | Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Relocation Bonus: $5,000 (must stay 1 year to receive)

Responsibilities
- Administer therapeutic radiation treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout treatment
- Perform quality assurance checks and monitor treatment accuracy
- Communicate effectively with clinical staff and report any incidents
- Work at one designated location (Puyallup or Gig Harbor); newer grads start in Gig Harbor and may transition to Puyallup to train on additional machines
Requirements
- ARRT (T) Certification in hand
- Washington State License not required to start – must apply once offered

The Radiation Therapist applies ionizing radiation to the patient in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist. The Radiation Therapist is responsible for helping in the efficient operation of the radiation department and ensuring safe patient care.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree, if required by state regulations/licensing requirements
- Current Licensure as a Radiation Therapist, as required by state regulations or contract specification
- One (1) year of experience as a Radiation Therapist preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
