The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department and/or supervising designee.  The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional. The school aide must help with redirecting behaviors to help with the student’s academic goals. 

Our subbing opportunities work as a flexible on-call on-site schedule near you, weekly pay and Monday – Friday open scheduling. Floating around West Contra Costa areas: Hercules/Pinole/El Cerrito/San Pablo CA

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable   
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Punctual & communicative

The actual pay offered to a successful candidate will take into account a wide range of factors, including but not limited to location, experience, and other variable factors.
