Job Description:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Special Education Teachers to provide high-quality services to students in grades K–12. Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), offering specialized instruction, and collaborating with general education staff to support student success.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs.
- Participate in IEP development and implementation.
- Provide tutorial assistance and consult with general education teachers.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred).
- Valid state teaching certificate (preferred but not required — provisional certification support available).
- One year of teaching experience (preferred).
- Preferred certifications:
- Standard Elementary Teaching
- Standard Secondary Teaching
- Standard Special Teaching
- Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1)
- Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
- Current CPR certification (if applicable).
- TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable).
