Location: Winthrop, MA
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Through June 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:50 AM–2:30 PM
Compensation: Up to $26/hour

Amergis Educational Staffing is excited to partner with a well respected school in Winthrop, MA to hire two dedicated Special Education Paraprofessionals to support elementary students with diverse learning and behavioral needs.

Role Overview

As a Special Education Aide, you’ll work closely with classroom teachers to:

• Provide individualized and group support for students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
• Assist in implementing instructional and non-instructional activities in self-contained, resource room, or general education settings.
• Support students with medical and hygiene needs, including diapering, toileting, and mobility assistance (e.g., wheelchair transport).
• Help facilitate recess, school outings, and transitions to/from transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a school or similar setting.
• ABA experience is a plus, but not required.
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable in dynamic environments.
