Special Education Teacher | $48/hr | Elementary | Manor, TX | Full-Time | 2025–2026 School Year

Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring two full-time Special Education Teachers to support elementary students in Manor, Texas for the 2025–2026 school year. These in-person roles begin ASAP and run through May 28, 2026.

Position Overview:

  • Location: Manor, TX

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Duration: October 20, 2025 – May 28, 2026

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:40 AM – 3:00 PM

  • Hours/Week: 40

  • Pay Rate: $48/hour

  • Modality: In-person

  • Interview Type: Virtual

Open Roles:

  • Resource and Inclusion Teacher (1 opening)

  • ECSE Teacher (1 opening)

Responsibilities:

Resource and Inclusion Teacher:

  • Develop and implement IEPs

  • Modify general education curricula for inclusion settings

  • Conduct assessments and monitor progress

  • Participate in ARD meetings and maintain documentation

  • Supervise paraprofessionals and integrate technology into instruction

ECSE Teacher:

  • Design lessons based on IEP goals

  • Provide instruction in self-contained, inclusion, or blended settings

  • Collaborate with therapists to support development

  • Maintain documentation and participate in ARD meetings

  • Foster independence and social interaction in a structured environment

Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid Texas teaching certificate (SPED endorsement preferred)

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

  • One year of teaching experience (preferred)

  • CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
