Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in St. Louis, Missouri for the 2025–2026 school year. This in-person role begins October 20, 2025, and runs for 7 months.

Position Overview:

Location: St. Louis, MO
Start Date: October 20, 2025
Duration: 7 months
Schedule: Monday–Friday, typically 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Hours/Week: 37.5
Modality: In-person
Pay Rate: $42/hour
Classroom Type: Elementary, push-in/pull-out model
Caseload: 10–15 students
Support: Para support provided

Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction and support
Write and implement IEPs
Address behavioral needs
Collaborate with general education staff
Deliver group and 1:1 support

Minimum Requirements:

Valid Missouri teaching certificate with SPED endorsement
Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
One year of teaching experience (preferred)
CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
