RN/LPN – School Bus Nurse- Mobile, AL
Location: Mobile, AL
Pay: $30/hr (RN) | $26/hr (LPN)
Amergis is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) and LicensedPractical Nurses (LPNs) to care for medically fragile students duringschool bus transit. This is a rewarding opportunity to ensure student safetywhile enjoying a flexible weekday schedule.
Schedule
- Morning Route: 5:30 AM – 8:30 AM
- Afternoon Route: 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Work both shifts and earn a guaranteed 6 hours daily!
Monday–Friday | No weekends
What You’ll Do
- Assist students with boarding and ensure medical equipment is ready.
- Monitor and provide care during transit (including g-tube and trach/suctioning).
- Communicate with parents, school nurses, and bus staff.
- Document accurate nursing notes.
Requirements
- Active AL RN/LPN or Compact license
- BLS CPR certification
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Skilled in g-tube and trach care
