The Licensed Clinical Social Worker collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team to provide input in the development of the plan of care for those patients/clients requiring social work intervention. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker provides counseling and crisis intervention to patients/clients who have social or emotional problems in a variety of settings across the age span.

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree in Social Work from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education required
Active license as an LCSW in state of practice required
Minimum of one year of social work experience preferred
Current CPR if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age

Job Title: Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) – Wellness Department
Location: San Francisco, CA
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: 13-week contract | Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Local Pay: $60/hour

Travel Weekly Pay: $2,720 ($920 taxable + $1,800 stipends)

Setting: On-site Wellness Department
Client Population: Students ages 16–24 pursuing HS Diploma, GED, or Trade School while residing on campus

About the Role:

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking empathetic, flexible, and well-rounded licensed mental health professionals to join a dynamic team supporting youth in a residential educational setting. You’ll play a vital role in helping students overcome barriers to employability through mental health support and education.

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor the center’s Mental Health Program
Provide individual and group counseling
Conduct early identification and diagnosis of mental health issues
Promote mental health awareness and prevention
Collaborate with staff for training and consultation
Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and Job Corps PRH guidelines

Qualifications:

Active California BBS License (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC)
Minimum 1 year of social work or counseling experience
Passion for working with diverse youth populations
Strong communication and collaboration skills
