Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher to support students in Tempe, Arizona for the 2025–2026 school year. This in-person role begins October 20, 2025 and runs through May 2026, offering $50/hour for 40 hours per week.

Position Overview:

Location: Tempe, AZ
Start Date: October 20, 2025
End Date: May 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Hours/Week: 40
Modality: Resource, Special Education Teacher
Interview Type: In-person
Pay Rate: $50/hour

Caseload Details:

Grade Level: 3rd–5th or 6th–8th (pending assignment)
Classroom Type: General, Inclusion, or Self-Contained
Caseload Type: Co-teaching model
Classroom Support: Paraprofessionals

Responsibilities:

Provide quality services to K–12 special education students
Participate in planning and implementation of student programs
Deliver special instruction, tutorial assistance, and collaborate with general education staff
Maintain compliance with professional standards and documentation requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Valid Arizona teaching certificate
LBS1 endorsement preferred
CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be fully certified and available for in-person work
