Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher to support students in Tempe, Arizona for the 2025–2026 school year. This in-person role begins October 20, 2025 and runs through May 2026, offering $50/hour for 40 hours per week.

Position Overview:

• Location: Tempe, AZ

• Start Date: October 20, 2025

• End Date: May 2026

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

• Hours/Week: 40

• Modality: Resource, Special Education Teacher

• Interview Type: In-person

• Pay Rate: $50/hour

Caseload Details:

• Grade Level: 3rd–5th or 6th–8th (pending assignment)

• Classroom Type: General, Inclusion, or Self-Contained

• Caseload Type: Co-teaching model

• Classroom Support: Paraprofessionals

Responsibilities:

• Provide quality services to K–12 special education students

• Participate in planning and implementation of student programs

• Deliver special instruction, tutorial assistance, and collaborate with general education staff

• Maintain compliance with professional standards and documentation requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

• Valid Arizona teaching certificate

• LBS1 endorsement preferred

• CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must be fully certified and available for in-person work
