Now Hiring: Resource Specialist (Special Education)
Location: Burlingame, CA
Schedule: 32.5–35 hours/week

Duration: 2025–2026 School Year
Pay Rate: $70/hr (Travel Pay with Stipend Compensation Packages for Eligible Candidates)
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Resource Specialist to provide individualized and small-group instruction to students with mild to moderate disabilities. This role supports students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), helping them succeed academically while collaborating with families and educational professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction in both group and one-on-one settings.
- Monitor and document student progress regularly.
- Develop and adapt curriculum and materials to meet individual student needs.
- Write and implement IEPs, including transitional goals.
- Conduct assessments and evaluate referrals for special education services.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, psychologists, and other professionals.
- Support general education teachers with strategies and documentation.
- Participate in professional development and team meetings.
- Research and order instructional materials as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential.
- Experience supporting students with special needs in a school setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective instructional strategies.
