Hospital opportunity for Anesthesia Technician, 3x12s Day shift variable

$2,000 – $2,250/wk, 13 week contract that is likely to extend

  • Hospital and PEDS experience as an Anesthesia Technician required

The Anesthesia Technician performs a variety of technical and supportive patient care tasks to assist attending anesthesiologists, residents and nurse anesthetists in performing anesthetic procedures for patients ranging from infancy to geriatrics. Additionally, performs routine and delegated duties according to departmental policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Hospital Anesthesia Tech experience of 2 years required
  • PEDS experience required
  • BLS American Heart Association is required
  • Certified anesthesia technician (Cer.A.T.) preferred
  • Medical or Science-based secondary education preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited program i.e. EMT, Paramedic, RT, or Anesthesia Technology (AT) program preferred
  • ACLS, EMT, Paramedic, RT, Medical, or prior HCA licensing preferred
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray required
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements  
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
