HIRING!! Mental Health Therapists

 

Position Summary:
A Mental Health Therapist in an addiction treatment setting providestherapeutic support to individuals struggling with substance use disorders andco-occurring mental health conditions. This role involves conductingassessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-basedinterventions to promote recovery and emotional well-being.

 

Position Details:

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Hours/Shifts/Schedules:
    • Monday-Friday Full Time

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions focused on addiction recovery and mental health stabilization.
  • Perform clinical assessments to diagnose substance use and co-occurring disorders.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using modalities such as CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during acute episodes.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, addiction counselors, and medical staff to ensure integrated care.
  • Educate clients and families on addiction, relapse prevention, and coping strategies.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
  • Licensure: Must be licensed or license-eligible (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCPC).
  • Experience: Prior experience in addiction treatment or behavioral health preferred.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, trauma-informed care, cultural competence, and ability to work in high-stress environments.
