Pay Rate: Up to $55/hour
Overview:
Amergis Educational Staffing is proud to partner with a welcoming and community-focused school in Roxbury, MA to hire a Long-Term Substitute School Nurse for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and organized nursing professional to support student health and wellness in a vibrant school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily health services to students and staff
- Administer medications and manage chronic health conditions
- Respond to illness and injury with appropriate care and documentation
- Maintain health records and ensure compliance with state health regulations
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student well-being
- Participate in school-wide health initiatives and safety planning
- Support daily operations and contribute to a safe, nurturing school environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Valid MA nursing license (RN Only)
- 1–2 years of experience in a school or pediatric setting
- Strong communication and organizational
