Special Education Teacher | $50/hr | Full-Time | Phoenix, AZ | 2025–2026 School Year

Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring seven full-time Special Education Teachers to support students across multiple campuses in Phoenix, Arizona for the 2025–2026 school year. These in-person roles begin October 27, 2025, and run for 36 weeks, offering $50/hour for 40 hours/week.

Position Overview:

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Start Date: October 27, 2025
Duration: 36 weeks (2025–2026 SY)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
Modality: In-person
Interview Type: Virtual
Openings: 7
Pay Rate: $50/hour

Campus Assignments:

3 openings: 2 inclusion, 1 CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy classroom)
2 openings: High school inclusion (Laveen Village area)
2 openings: SUCCESS program (Desiderata High School)

Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction and support for K–12 students
Collaborate with general education staff and school teams
Develop and implement IEPs
Offer tutorial assistance and consultation
Participate in planning and team meetings

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Valid Arizona teaching certificate
One year of teaching experience (preferred)
Preferred certifications: Standard Elementary, Secondary, Special Teaching
LBS1 endorsement preferred
CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
