Special Education Teacher | $50/hr | Full-Time | Phoenix, AZ | 2025–2026 School Year

Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring seven full-time Special Education Teachers to support students across multiple campuses in Phoenix, Arizona for the 2025–2026 school year. These in-person roles begin October 27, 2025, and run for 36 weeks, offering $50/hour for 40 hours/week.

Position Overview:

• Location: Phoenix, AZ

• Start Date: October 27, 2025

• Duration: 36 weeks (2025–2026 SY)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week

• Modality: In-person

• Interview Type: Virtual

• Openings: 7

• Pay Rate: $50/hour

Campus Assignments:

• 3 openings: 2 inclusion, 1 CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy classroom)

• 2 openings: High school inclusion (Laveen Village area)

• 2 openings: SUCCESS program (Desiderata High School)

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support for K–12 students

• Collaborate with general education staff and school teams

• Develop and implement IEPs

• Offer tutorial assistance and consultation

• Participate in planning and team meetings

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

• Valid Arizona teaching certificate

• One year of teaching experience (preferred)

• Preferred certifications: Standard Elementary, Secondary, Special Teaching

• LBS1 endorsement preferred

• CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
