The Correctional RN works in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to ensure the well-being of the incarcerated population. The Correctional RN utilizes their knowledge to address the specific challenges and limitations of the correctional environment while providing care to their patient population. This care includes both routine and emergency health care in a correctional facility setting.

Minimum Requirements:

Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
Minimum of one year of correctional health care experience preferred
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age

Juvenile Psychiatric RN – Malibu, CA

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a specialized Juvenile Psychiatric RN role at a behavioral health facility in Malibu, CA. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of youth while working in a scenic coastal setting.

?? Start Date: October 20, 2025
? Duration: 20 weeks – No time off may be requested

Schedule & Pay:

Shift: 5×8-Hour | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM | Rotating weekends
Hours: 40 hours/week
Travel RN Weekly Pay: $3,001/week
- Includes $1,937 stipends + $26.55/hour taxable income
Local RN Pay: $64/hour

Required Qualifications:

Active RN License in the state of California
2+ years of psychiatric/behavioral health experience
Prior Med/Surg or ER experience
- Must be comfortable and experienced with blood draws and IVs
Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with juvenile populations in behavioral health settings
Strong crisis intervention and de-escalation skills
