The Critical Care Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in a variety of critical care settings. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care. Responsibilities include monitoring, assessment, vital sign monitoring, ventilator management, medication administration, intravenous insertion and infusion, central line care, catheters, and maintenance of a running record of the patient’s status. The Critical Care RN must be prepared at all times to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and other lifesaving measures for the patients in their care.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
  • One year of critical care experience is preferred
  • Minimum of one year acute or critical care experience preferred
  • Current BLS card; current ACLS/PALS card (per facility requirement)
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age 

ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Los Angeles, CA

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses for a 9-week assignment at a leading healthcare facility in Los Angeles, CA. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic critical care environment while enjoying everything LA has to offer.

?? Start Date: October 21, 2025

Assignment Details:

  • Duration: 9 weeks
  • Schedule: Nights | 36 hours/week
  • Shift: 3×12-Hour | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Compensation:

  • Travel RN Weekly Pay: $3,295.60/week
    • Includes $1,503.50 taxable income + $1,792 stipends
  • Local RN Pay: $70/hour

Required Qualifications:

  • Active RN License in the state of California
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS and PALS certifications (per facility requirement)
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • 1-year recent full-time equivalent ICU or acute care experience within the last 3 years

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field
  • 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification
  • CCRN Certification
  • Dialysis SLED or equivalent experience
